Synopsis of the Netflix drama version of "Three Bodies
The first original Chinese science fiction drama adaptation of Liu Jixin's science fiction novel of the same name, "Three Bodies" depicts the exchange of information between the human and three-body civilizations on Earth, the struggle for life and death, and the rise and fall of two civilizations in space. 2023 is a time of storm and fear in the scientific community as a mutation occurs in the basic science on Earth.
A scientist's suicide, a near-miraculous countdown, a scientist's secret side, and a mysterious "three-body game" ...... Scientist Wang Yanbi is taken to the Joint Operation Center by police officer Shi Qiang to infiltrate an organization called "Science Frontier" to help in the investigation. In the fog, Wang淼 makes contact with an organization called ETO and discovers that its commander-in-chief is actually Yang Dong 's mother - Ip Wenjie, a scientist who died by suicide.
As the ETO and the operation center move back and forth, Wang淼 andShiqiang gradually discern that the world of the game "Three Bodies" is real. And the source of all events is the desperate life-and-death struggle between two civilizations for survival space. With the combined forces of the Joint Operations Center and the scientists, and with renewed faith and hope, Wang Miao and Shi Qiang continue to prepare for the deadly battle against the "Three Bodies" invasion that looms in the future.
